MY STORY

Devin Carter is an Atlanta-based director, producer, and founder of
Koach Carter Films.
Built from over a decade of professional film and television set
experience, Devin's work is rooted in story, culture, emotion, and
cinematic execution. He didn't come into filmmaking from the outside
looking in — he learned the craft from the ground up, working on real
sets, around real crews, and inside the pressure of professional
production. He holds a BA in Video Production from the Art Institute
of Atlanta and carries IATSE memberships across Locals 479, 927, and
834 — with credits spanning major studio features and network series.
Through Koach Carter Films, Devin creates narrative films, music
videos, branded content, and cinematic visuals for artists,
businesses, and stories that deserve to be felt — not just watched.
His style blends grounded performances, raw emotion, Atlanta culture,
and a strong visual edge. Whether directing a short film, building a
music video concept, or helping a brand sharpen its image, Devin
approaches every project with the same goal: make it honest, make it
cinematic, and make it mean something.
Current projects include S.W.A.T.S., a coming-of-age short film set
in Southwest Atlanta, Captive, a horror-thriller proof of concept,
and Clique, an Atlanta-based music industry drama series.
